Es ist schon eine Weile her seit ich Dublin Street gelesen habe, aber weil ich Ellie und Adam als Charaktere so gerne mochte, habe ich mich richtig gefreut, als ich ihre Kurzgeschichte als Bonuscontent in Before Jamaica Lane gefunden habe.
Die Art wie die Geschichte aufgemacht wurde, hat mir auch wirklich gut gefallen. Denn sie ist um Tagebucheinträge von Ellie aufgebaut. Es sind also wirklich neue Informationen zu den beiden Charakteren, was ich ja bei solchen "Neuerzählungen" von Geschichten, die man eigentlich schon kennt, immer sehr wichtig finde. Und irgendwie hat es mich einfach sehr glücklich gemacht, noch mal auf einige der Ereignisse aus einer anderen Sicht zurückzublicken. Mittlerweile ist mir diese Reihe einfach total ans Herz gewachsen und alle Zweifel, die ich am Anfang hatte, sind weg. Allerdings würde ich nicht sagen, dass man es unbedingt lesen muss, aber wenn man Ellie und Adam in den anderen Büchern mag, kann ich es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
